Put these figures in the context of your home

A battery can store electricity for use later, including in the evening. The right size depends on when you use electricity and how it will be charged.

Ask your installer: “Using my electricity usage, why have you recommended this battery size?”

Tell your installer about an EV, heat pump or changing household routine before accepting a design. Ask them to model your expected use, not just a typical home.
