What should be checked in a solar quote?
A solar quote should make the proposed system, equipment, total price and important installation work clear. RECC advises consumers to obtain at least three quotations and to make sure they receive a written quote with a property-specific performance estimate and a full breakdown of what will be supplied.

Why price alone is not enough
Two quotes can differ because of battery capacity, inverter type, scaffolding, roof complexity, warranties and electrical work. A lower quote is not automatically better, and a higher quote is not automatically poor value.
